Business Plan University

.:University Contest Home:.

Business Plan University is spearheaded by the Nashville Business Incubation Center (NBIC). Widely known for its record of effectively developing small businesses that are housed at the Center, Business Plan University was created to extend those same success techniques to the entire MSA.

The first business plan contest was conducted in 2005-2006. The entire community became involved. Sixty volunteers from diverse professions and backgrounds served as judges. Members of SCORE volunteered to mentor the participants. In the end, twenty-five small business owners walked away with bankable business plans that were ready for implementation.
